Now there are countless theories that eradicate any signs of life on this planet but which one will actually be true (Hypothetically speaking) ? Well this all started with the end of Mayan calendar that stopped its count on Dec 21st, 2012. Now I mean no disrespect to the people who actually believe it but have you guys ever thought that the guy making that calendar got sick all his 9 to 5 job of craving days, months and years on stones. I guess he finally snapped on Dec 21st and quit, him being the only one who knew how to actually
I was researching on this topic and I came across Comet Apophis theory a.k.a 99942 Apophis, no its not much of a theory as a fact, this comet has been orbiting our solar system for years and its said that it will come very very close to our beautiful Earth close enough to actually disrupts our satellites, so good luck watching this on your Dish Network or using your GPS. This is happen in 2029 (still a long way to go), but here is when this fact goes all bonkers, according to NASA's calculations Comet Apophis is coming closer and closer to our planet and will finally collide with Earth on April 13th, 2036. Now, NASA and all other space agencies have already been working on way they can deflect it from its impending path and thus avoid hitting our mother earth. Though this comet is not big enough to be a planet killer it can easily level a large city or two if it were to hit us. I hope this is not going to be the case but if it does then not sure which agency it is but they have a path of risk, which maps its possible collision path.
Apophis: Path of Risk |
Its like we cannot catch a break, if we survive 2012 then we have to look forward to 2036. Oh well make the most out of the time we have to ourselves, in the spirit of which my next post will be my bucket list of places I would like to see before 2036 happens.
