The Dark Knight Rises

Now who is excited about this movie ? I know I AM :) Its going to be a long wait but I hope Christopher Nolan maintains his high standard that he has set with Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Batman Begins was great I enjoyed it and how the movies paced itself. I can out of the theater very satisfied, I wasn't blown away but its was a good movie. Then came The Dark Knight, it started at a slow pace, but that doesn't necessarily translate to being boring. The scenes were interesting and the bank heist was a perfect way to introduce The Joker and his craziness, by the end of the movie I was wishing that the movie never ended, at one point I even considered to sneak into another room where the movie just started but alas I has prior engagements. Well I am not a very wealthy person and I understand that you do not have to have lots of money to get movies the legitimate way but I do like to download them. However, I wanted The Dark Knight movie in Blu-ray so I could watch it on my PS3 in all its glory, so the day it was released I bought it. The movie is easily on my Top Ten all time favorites. Now, I am not sure if I should expect a whole lot more from the next and last installment of Batman or should keep my expectations low. I have been very satisfied with this franchise, if you think about it this has been the most successful comic character movie till date, sure Spiderman made tons for greens but the third one sucked big time, X-men did average, so did Hulk and Superman. I hope Nolan keeps things his way and makes this franchise the best ever. The Dark Knight Rises comes out in summer 2012, with a promising cast of Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Anne Hathaway (Catwoman), Liam Neeson (Ra's al Ghul), Tom Hardy (Bane) and many others. Can't wait for summer 2012.
